Samsung announced that it has taken off its Galaxy Note branding; at least it’s announcing the same thing today. We all knew that the Galaxy Note phones were identical to their Galaxy S-series phones even in their last generations. The situation became more difficult to distinguish when the Galaxy S22 Ultra series of phones were on the market. In addition, the most recent Galaxy S22 Ultra phone comes with an integrated S-Pen, and the whole tech industry began calling it a Galaxy Note with the Ultra name. Many wondered whether Samsung would launch a Galaxy Note handset in the future. The answer is no!

Samsung may have decided to end the confusion, as its mobile head Roh Tae-moon disclosed to journalists in MWC 2022. He said that “Galaxy Note will come out as Ultra” from this point on.

But long-time Galaxy Note fans have nothing to worry about. As we’ve mentioned, it’s just that the Galaxy Ultra branding has taken over the title. This year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra is pretty more of a note only. You can find its specifications below:

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Specs and Features

From the beginning, it appears that the Galaxy S22 Ultra resembles a Note in its design from the beginning. The chassis is a bit bulky with curving edges. It has Gorilla Glass Victus+ at the front and back, which is held together with the Armour Aluminum frame. The device is robust and can withstand water and dust with IP68 resistance. It even has an opening in the body to accommodate the S-Pen.

The S-Pen comes with everything that is the trick or goodies of its predecessors; however, the thing that makes it superior lies in the 2.8ms latency.
You can write or interact with it on a 6.8-inch AMOLED LTPO2 screen with a 120Hz refresh rate that is adaptive with a resolution of 1440×3088 pixels, HDR10+ quality, and 1750 Nits of brightness at peak.

With its punch-hole cutout, you’ll get a 40MP camera that records at 4K@60 FPS. The cameras in the back are dominated by a 108MP leader that includes the 10MP 10x periscope lens, a 10MP 3x zoom, and a 12MP, ultrawide 120deg.

The core processor that runs the device is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (in India) coupled with LPDDR5 RAM UFS 3.1 storage. The device also has a mAh battery of 5000mAh with 45W charging capability.
